Governments were once again had the most ads across major radio markets, according to AdEase data for March 20 to 26.

The only exception was Vancouver, where Subway once again held the top spot. The QSR is continuing to promote its new teriyaki menu items, as was also a top ten advertiser across other markets.

Various automaker dealer associations were also major advertisers this week, with Toyota, Honda, Mazda and Nissan all landing on the top ten in different cities, with all five on the list in Montreal. The majority of the ads were behind SUV models, though some of Toyota’s ads in Montreal and Quebec City were behind its Tacoma pickup truck.
