HGTV is building four new series into its spring sked reno plans.
The new sched kicks off March 31 with 13 half-hour eps of HGTV’s Top 10 at 8 pm ET, showcasing the work of top pros across the continent including designers such as Jamie Drake and architects like David Hertz. Each ep focuses on a different type of room, featuring ten examples of best decor and design plans.
Later at 9 pm, the world broadcast premiere of Sarah’s Cottage has home design guru Sarah Richardson of Room Service, Design Inc. and Sarah’s House tackling her own reno at her summer getaway. The six half-hour eps feature a different side of Richardson’s personal style.
Launching April 2 at 9 pm ET, the world broadcast premiere of Disaster DIY – Cottage Edition with six half-hour eps. Similar to the city-based version, hapless do-it-yourselfers are given a hand with their reno disasters – this time north of the city limits, where Bryan Baeumler and his crew help turn them into reno dreams amid the occasional summer splash of a boat ride, fishing trip or swim.
Also launching Apr. 2 with 13 half-hour eps is My Big Amazing Renovation at 9:30 pm ET, which looks at what happens when renos go to the extreme. The Canadian broadcast premiere favours moving up in rather than moving out of existing homes, with each ep following different families as they take on the biggest renos of their lives.
