Michael Szego, VP head of planning, Draftfcb, has announced the agency has hired Laurie Dillon-Schalk as its planning director, digital.
Dillon-Schalk most recently worked as director of digital strategy and innovation at JWT Canada, working with clients including Brand USA and Walmart. She officially joins Draftfcb in August, and Szego says he is excited for her to get started working with clients including Kraft and Ontario Tourism.
“Laurie is one of those rare, deep digital thought leaders that are so hard to find these days, and she fills a key role for our clients,” said Szego in the release. “Her experience in digital, social and mobile, on both the agency and marketing sides, is extremely valuable for the kinds of brands we work with.”
