CTV’s Emmys 2012 ratings up from last year

The ABC awards show on CTV pulled in 2.4 million average viewers, up 2% over 2011 with total viewers, and up 5% in the key A25-54 demo.

CTV’s airing of the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards Sunday night was up in total audience from 2011, as well as in the key A25-54 demo.

The ABC awards show on CTV pulled in 2.4 million average viewers, up 2% over last year with total viewers, and up 5% in the A25-54 demo, according to BBM Canada data.

Overall, 8.3 million Canadians watched some or all of the Emmys broadcast on CTV.

And the American TV kudosfest coverage Sunday started with a combined 716,000 viewers catching the live Emmy Red Carpet pre-show on CTV and CTV Two.
