Big Bang Theory stays on top

The sitcom holds on to #1 while Amazing Race 17 and Grey's Anatomy round out the top three.

 

Here are the top-ranked shows in Canada (for all persons 2+; all times ET), according to BBM, for Nov 8 to 14, 2010:

Monday: House on Global at 8 p.m. knocked Dancing with the Stars out of the top spot, where it had been for three weeks. The medical drama had 2.368 million viewers, compared to the dancing show’s 2.2 million.

Tuesday: Dancing with the Stars, the results show, lost its Tuesday night top spot, too. Glee on Global at 8 p.m. won the night with 1.967 million viewers. The DWTS results show had 1.755 million, a drop from the previous week’s 1.865 million.

Wednesday: Criminal Minds on CTV at 9 p.m. dominated Wednesday night for the eighth straight week, this time with 2.412 million viewers.

Thursday: The Big Bang Theory on CTV at 8 p.m. was, once again, the number one show of the night and the week. 3.304 million people tuned in, down from the 3.408 million the week before. Grey’s Anatomy was second on the night with 2.657 million viewers.

Friday: CSI: New York on CTV at 9 p.m. held on to the night’s top spot with 1.855 million viewers. CTV Evening News was second with 1.758 million.

Saturday: Hockey Night in Canada Game 1 on CBC at 7 p.m. attracted 2.646 million viewers, up substantially from the previous week’s 1.787 million.

Sunday: Amazing Race 17 on CTV at 8 p.m. won the night with 2.791 million viewers, beating out Desperate Housewives and Battle of the Blades, which had 2.093 million and 1.769 million viewers, respectively.
