ACLC has hired Ian Gordon to take the helm as president, under chair and CEO Esme Carroll, starting on Nov. 20. Gordon comes to ACLC from his role as VP strategic branding for doug agency. Gordon has worked with clients such as Unilever, Molson, Delisle Foods and Frito-Lay. He is a former director of home care for Unilever’s Lever Pond division, where he created Sunlight’s ‘Go ahead. Get Dirty’ campaign, which won Cassies Grand Prix and Multi-Media Campaign Gold at the Marketing Awards.
ACLC expects the hire to strengthen its momentum, as Gordon’s hire follows a number of recent account wins, including Mercedes-Benz Canada, our a move to offices in downtown Toronto. ACLC also wanted Gordon’s leadership for the launch of its Push Interactive division.
