GroupM is shaking things up in the Maxus executive ranks, naming Lindsay Pattison as the agency’s new global CEO.
Pattison has been leading the agency’s UK office for five years, taking it from a ranking of 14 to seven in the market, according to GroupM. She has also held the global role of chief strategy officer for the last two years, overseeing product, planning, marketing, new business and effectiveness.
In the new role, Pattison will co-locate between London and New York, reporting to GroupM global president Dominic Proctor. She takes over the role from Vikram Sakhuja, who will be staying in the group in a to-be-determined role.
During Sakhuja’s two years as global CEO he expanded the global footprint of the brand and added clients like NBC Universal and L’Oreal.
Pattison’s promotion comes following the agency hiring a new topper in North America earlier this year when Steve Williams joined Maxus.
