GroupM appoints director of privacy

The company has named Rachel Glasser to the role, with online behavioural advertising as a key focus.

GroupM has appointed a director of privacy and partner activation, naming Rachel Glasser to the role.

Glasser was promoted to the position following four years with GroupM agency MEC. In her new role she is responsible for providing data privacy education across GroupM agencies and clients. A key focus for Glasser in the new role will be data use for online behavioural advertising and compliance with relevant privacy laws and self-regulatory guidelines. She is also responsible for activating key technology partnerships within the group’s digital operations, and ensuring their performance is privacy compliant.

She is working out of GroupM’s New York office on the privacy team led by John Montgomery, COO of interaction for GroupM across North America.
