Here are the top-ranked shows in Canada (for all persons 2+; all times ET), according to BBM, for Sept. 20 to 26, 2010:
Monday: House on Global at 8 p.m. won the night with 2.699 million viewers, taking over for last week’s winner, The Big Bang Theory, which was moved to Thursday nights. Second place on the night went to the Dancing With the Stars performance show on CTV at 8 p.m. with 2.479 million viewers.
Tuesday: Glee on Global at 8 p.m. had 2.244 million viewers, beating out the Dancing with the Stars results show, which had 2.086 million viewers.
Wednesday: Criminal Minds at 9 p.m. on CTV narrowly beat out Survivor: Nicaragua with 2.639 million viewers. Survivor was most-watched show the previous week, but was bumped down to fifth spot overall and second on the day, with 2.589 million viewers on Global at 8 p.m.
Thursday: It was a good night for CTV. The Big Bang Theory at 8 p.m. was the week’s top show with 3.112 million viewers, up from last week’s 2.126 million. The Mentalist, also on CTV, was second on the night and third on the week with 2.643 million tuning in at 10 p.m.
Friday: CSI: New York on CTV at 9 p.m. had 2.325 million viewers, enough for the night’s top spot. Flashpoint, which had held the night’s top spot for CTV for the previous three weeks, wrapped up last week with 1.8 million viewers.
Saturday: CTV National News at 11 p.m. was most-watched with 1.259 million viewers, up from last week’s second-place showing with 1.134 million.
Sunday: The season premiere of Amazing Race 17 at 8:30 p.m. had 2.438 million viewers, beating out The Simpsons at 8 p.m. on Global with 1.536 million viewers.
