Canadian Tire buys the top: Media Monitors

The retailer bought the most radio advertising in Toronto and Montreal for the week of Dec. 21 to 27.

Canadian Tire finished the last full week of 2015 on top of the radio advertising charts, buying the most spots in Toronto and Montreal for the week of Dec. 21 to 27.

In Toronto the retailer moved up from #7 to #1 for the week and was followed by Rogers Wireless, which jumped from #58 to #2. Ford Lincoln dropped from #2 to #3 for the week, while Chrysler jumped from #20 to #4. Hudson’s Bay rounded out the top of the list, moving up one from#6 to #5.

In Montreal Canadian Tire jumped from #15 to take the top spot for the week. Bell Mobility moved from #3 to #2, while Virgin Mobile dropped one, moving from #2 to #3.

TSN made a big jump, moving from #20 to #4, as did Hudson’s Bay, which jumped from #14 to #5.
