Kids will soon get their own shot at singing stardom in French Canada with the announcement that TBA is bringing the junior version of hit show La Voix to screens.

La Voix Junior will be open to contestants aged seven to 14. It will be hosted by popular Quebec personality Charles Lafortune, who also currently co-hosts La Voix.

Auditions for the show will begin during spring break across six regions of Quebec. La Voix Junior will hit airwaves in the fall.

In addition to announcing the coming of La Voix Junior, TVA has also confirmed a fifth season of La Voix will be coming next winter.

Season four of La Voix had a 59% audience share, with an average audience of 2.8 million viewers in its Sunday night timeslot, according to Numeris numbers provided by TVA.
