Here are the top-ranked shows in Canada (for all persons 2+; all times ET), according to BBM, for Aug. 23 to 29, 2010:
Monday: Lie to Me on Global at 9 p.m. had the most viewers for the second week in a row with 1.475 million while CTV’s So You Think You Can Dance Canada was third on the night with 1.262 million viewers, behind CTV Evening News (1.428 million).
Tuesday: CTV Evening News at 6 p.m. was the most-watched program of the night with 1.428 million viewers. America’s Got Talent on Citytv at 9 p.m. was the second most-watched show of the night with 1.363 million.
Wednesday: Ratings juggernaut Big Brother 12 on Global at 8 p.m. won the night with 2.048 million. The show had 1.927 million viewers on the same night the previous week.
Thursday: For the second night in a row, Big Brother 12 at 8 p.m. was the top show, with 2.104 viewers, up from the previous week’s 1.833 million. Rookie Blue on Global at 9 p.m. had 1.682 million viewers, enough for second.
Friday: CTV Evening News at 6 p.m. took the night with 1.428 million viewers. Last week’s winner, Flashpoint, on CTV at 10 p.m., dropped from 1.558 million viewers to just 876,000.
Saturday: CTV National News remains the top program for Saturday with 1.217 million viewers at 11 p.m. The news program had 1.191 million people watch the previous week.
Sunday: The Emmy Awards on CTV at 8 p.m. won the night and the week with 2.429 million viewers, beating out Big Brother 12, with 2.104 million viewers at 8 p.m. on Global.
