Colin Kinsella to head Havas North America

The media veteran will take over from Lori Hiltz, who has been promoted to the role of CEO, global brands.

There has been a leadership shuffle at the C-suite at Havas Media Group.

Colin Kinsella, the former CEO of Mindshare North America has taken on the top role at Havas North America. He will be replacing Lori Hiltz, who had been CEO since 2012 and has been promoted to CEO, global brands, for the media group.

Prior to his time at Mindshare, Kinsella was CEO North America for Digitas and has worked at the exec level at Razorfish and QuinStreet, an online marketing and technology-focused start-up.

“[Colin’s] career has spanned from advertising startups to multidisciplinary media management, making him the perfect fit for our culture and our integrated ‘Together’ strategy,” Alfonso Rodés, Global CEO Havas Media Group, stated in a press release. “From the moment we met Colin it was clear that he shared our vision to integrate, create and inspire.”

In her new role, Hiltz will be responsible for running a new group-wide portfolio of global clients. In her capacity as CEO, Havas North America, she oversaw the implemention of the above-mentioned  “Together” strategy, which aimed to create a fully integrated media agency. In that role she managed a staff of 800 across eight offices.

Both positions are effective immediately.
