Golden Globes bring in over three million viewers

The Bell Media broadcast of the awards program reached just over nine million Canadians in all.

Sunday night’s broadcast of the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards on CTV brought in 3.05 million (2+) viewers in Canada, according to BBM Canada numbers provided by Bell Media.

The program, which was hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler for the second straight year, fell just short of last year’s numbers of 3.4 million viewers, according to overnight numbers from 2013.

This year’s broadcast reached a total of 9.3 million viewers over the three-hour broadcast and peaked at 8:30 p.m. at 3.95 million, according to a Bell Media representative.
