Auto cos take the top: Media Monitors

Honda held the top spot in Toronto for the week of July 27 to August 2.

The Honda Dealer Association bought the most advertising in Toronto for the second straight week, according to the Media Monitors report for July 27 to August 2.

The car co was followed by Ford Lincoln, which remained at #2 for the second straight week. The Conservative Party of Canada’s ads Against Justin Trudeau moved up one, from #4 to #3.

Subaru dropped one, from #3 to #4 for the week. Mazda stayed put at #5 for the second straight week, rounding out the top of the list in the city for the week.

In Montreal Ford Lincoln jumped from #8 to #1. CTV joined the list at #2, with ads for Mission Impossible Rogue Nation joining at #3.

Brault & Martineau moved up one spot for the week, from #5 to #4. CraveTV also jumped, moving from #9 to #5.
