CTV has unveiled details on its upcoming news anchor transition from Lloyd Robertson to Lisa LaFlamme.
Robertson will sign off with a final newscast on Sept. 1 as host of CTV National News, which will air at 11 p.m. following a documentary about his 35-year career, directed by his daughter Lisa Robertson.
LaFlamme will then move from her current post as CTV’s national affairs correspondent to permanently fill the network’s top anchor post on Sept. 5.
Robertson will remain at CTV as host and chief correspondent of the documentary series W5.
And in the weeks leading up to Robertson’s final newscast, Canadians are invited to leave comments on a website.
