NFL finals post big numbers

The Sunday Conference Championship games on CTV each drew more than two million viewers.

The road to the Super Bowl finished on Sunday, with the Conference Championship  NFL games on CTV.

The New England Patriots vs. the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Conference Championship drew an average audience of 2.05 million viewers (2+), according to numbers from BBM Canada provided by Bell Media. This figure is up 2% compared to last year’s afternoon championship game on CTV.

Later in the day, the New York Giants vs. the San Francisco 49ers brought in an average audience of 2.4 million viewers, according to BBM Canada numbers. This is up 15% compared to last year’s prime-time Conference Championship game, according to a release from Bell Media.

Super Bowl XLVI, which pits the New England Patriots against the New York Giants, airs Sunday Feb. 5 on CTV.
