Rogers Wireless snatches the top radio spot: Media Monitors, Jan. 30 to Feb. 5, 2012

The telco made headway with a three-place jump to the top in Toronto, while AlarmForce made the biggest purchase in Montreal.

Media Monitors has reported that for the week of Jan. 30 to Feb. 5, Rogers Wireless made the largest radio purchase in Toronto, up from the #4 spot last week.

The LCBO made a bold debut with the liquor board entering the chart at #2 for the week and Porter Airlines moved up a couple of spots from the previous week’s #5  to #3.

Becel entered the radio chart with a buy that that put the Unilever brand in the #9 spot and a bigger spend was seen from Tim Hortons, as it jumped from #39 to #5.

In Montreal, AlarmForce snagged the #1 spot, giving its previous week’s second place position to new entrant CTV, and Bell came in at #3, up from the previous week’s #4 position.

Newcomers Corbeil and Subway entered the top 10 list at #8 and #10 respectively.
