UB Media grows cinema advertising network

With its latest expansion, the company now represents 167 screens in Montreal and 371 across Quebec.

UB Media announced Tuesday the expansion of its cinema advertising network, with the acquisition of 55 new locations in Quebec.

All told, the indoor ad operator’s network, which includes representation of the in-theatre advertising for independent theatre chains, such as Guzzo Cinemas, CinĂ©-Entreprise, and Les CinĂ©mas RGFM, now includes 167 screens in the Montreal market, and a total of 371 screens across the province.

The expansion agreement will see UB media exclusively market and manage the cinemas’ on-screen ad inventory, as well as all lobby posters, digital signage and event marketing, according to a company release.

UB’s ad network in Quebec also includes digital and static signage in more than 1,000 locations, including resto-bars, and representation at major universities, such as McGill and Concordia.

Nationally, UB’s network includes digital and static signage in more than 3,000 resto-bars, cinemas and campuses. It also exclusively represents Touchtunes Interactive Networks’ digital OOH network.
