Nataline Rodrigues named original programming head at Rogers Media

The former CBC exec replaces Claire Freeland, and will report to Hayden Mindell, the newly named VP of programming and content, broadcast.

Former CBC exec Nataline Rodrigues has been named director of original programming at Rogers Media, effective October.

Rodrigues was most recently executive in charge of production at the CBC, overseeing series like Arctic Air.

She replaces Claire Freeland, and will report to Hayden Mindell, the newly installed VP of programming and content, broadcast, after a recent promotion to replace Malcolm Dunlop.

Rodrigues will oversee the development and production of original Canadian series for Rogers Media’s non-sports TV brands.

“As Rogers Media continues to expand its successful roster of original programming, we are excited to bring aboard Nataline to further strengthen our diverse portfolio,” said Mindell in a statement Monday.

Rogers Media’s current Canadian slate includes Package Deal, Seed, Storage Wars Canada, The Project: Guatemala, Mother Up! and The Bachelor Canada.
