Vancouver-based BroadbandTV, owner of MCN BBTV, has signed a deal with free analytics platform Social Blade.
The deal gives creators who work with Social Blade access to BroadbandTV’s range of services, including ad sales and branded entertainment. BroadbandTV and Social Blade will each take a portion of the revenue for any creators who work with the partners, but did not disclose the percentage each will receive through the deal.
Social Blade currently supports YouTube, Twitch and Instagram. Currently, Social Blade tracks numbers for 4,000,000 YouTube channels and 1,000,000 Twitch channels, with a total of 1.3 million unique visitors each month.
BrandbandTV’s BBTV currently works with about 30,000 creators, including Canadians like iO and iO Trendz, TypicalGamer and OMGitsfirefoxx.
Earlier this year BroadbandTV launched a hip hop music-themed YouTube channel, called Opposition, aimed at reaching millennials.
