The CBC has named Abby Ho to the new role of senior producer, head of the CBC Fullscreen Creator Network.
Pacting earlier this year to create its own MCN, the CBC Fullscreen Creator Network launched with a slate of 2,000 Canadian creators. Last week Jean Mongeau, GM and CRO at CBC/Radio-Canada, said the partners have worked with eight brands to date, including launch partners Scion Canada, Wolf Blass, 20th Century Fox and the TD Kids Book Club.
Prior to this promotion, which will see her overseeing operations of the Fullscreen partnership, Ho worked as the lead on the CBC’s digital comedy brand, Punchline. She will report to Paul McGrath, director of digital content at the CBC in the new role.
Digital sales will still be handled by Heather Gordon and her team, but Ho will be responsible for deals directly pertaining to the CBC Fullscreen Creator Network.
