Jonathan Wood moves to Maxus
Maxus has brought a new corporate strategy director onto the team, naming Jonathan Wood to the role.
Wood most recently worked as an associate VP and media director at Dentsu Media. At Maxus, Wood will be working on achieving the agency’s aggressive new business goals, as well as playing a major lead role on the Nestle account.
Earlier this month Maxus parent company GroupM announced that it would be merging the agency with its sister shop, MEC. The yet-to-be-named combined agency will be formed following a six month review process in each market, according to GroupM’s global CEO, Kelly Clark. He told MiC following the announcement that there aren’t layoffs planned in the Canadian market as a result of the merger, noting the country is one of major importance for the investment group.
