MediaCom Canada has hired Monique Brosseau as SVP, business director and overall leader of its Montreal office.

Brosseau has held several senior positions in Montreal at both advertisers and agencies. Until October of last year, she was VP of marketing and visual presentation at Reitmans Canada. Prior to that, she held management and senior executive positions at DDB Montreal, ZenithOptimedia, Nurun, Publicis and Edelman.

MediaCom’s Montreal office was previously led by SVP and business director Jill Appelbaum, who has left the company.

Brosseau will report to chief client officer Urania Agas, who said the leadership changes marks a chance to grow MediaCom’s brand across the entire province. Agas added that there are no further hires or significant changes expected at the Montreal shop.
