Blue Ant adds home design FAST channel to Roku

Homeful includes several series and hundreds of hours of real estate and home renovation content.

Toronto-based Blue Ant Media is expanding its partnership with The Roku Channel in North America with the addition of free, ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channel Homeful to the Roku roster of content. Homeful offers audiences inspiration and feel-good moments with real estate, design, and decor projects that help make a house a home.

Homeful programming now available across the U.S. and Canada includes Candice Tells All, starring design expert Candice Olson (pictured above); What’s For Sale?, which follows families on the hunt to purchase their ultimate vacation home; Decks, Docks and Gazebos, a renovation show that focuses on transforming cabin properties; and Sarah’s Summer Rental featuring TV design celebrity Sarah Richardson as she transforms a 1950s era family cottage on a remote island into a profitable rental property.

The Roku Channel already carries Blue Ant Media free-streaming channel brands, HauntTV and CrimeTime in Canada. Streamers can find these channels and Homeful on The Roku Channel in the “Live TV” section.  Blue Ant Media’s suite of FAST channels can be accessed on platforms such as The Roku Channel, Xumo, Samsung TV Plus, VIZIO WatchFree+, and PrendeTV. The company’s growing global portfolio of FAST channels includes Love Nature, HauntTV, TotalCrime and Homeful.

FAST has been a major area of focus for Blue Ant recently, adapting its niche interest approach to linear TV to the streaming space. It has also allowed it to bring more advertisers to the streaming space, while also working with providers like Samsung and Roku – who sell the inventory on the FAST channels – to streamline the CTV offerings for brands.
