The Co-Operators moves up to the top radio buyer spot in Toronto: Media Monitors

The Co-Operators moved up one spot from last week to the become Toronto’s top radio buyer, according to Media Monitors data for Oct. 24 to 30. This resulted in Toyota, last week’s top buyer, going down to second place.

The rest of the city’s top spots were similar to last week with Desjardins Insurance and Telus Health taking the third and fifth spots, respectively. A new addition to the list was Benjamin Moore, which jumped from number 12 last week to number four.

In Montreal, General Motors of Canada took the top spot moving up from last week’s number two spot. Government of Quebec, Virgin Plus, Bell Internet and McDonald’s had the second, third, fourth and fifth spots. McDonald’s was at the eight spot last week indicating a big jump for the company.

Categorically, financial services were the most active radio advertisers in Toronto, followed by auto brands. Auto brands were also the most active in Montreal, followed by government and union ads.
