Agile place-based OOH provider Adapt Media has hired Larry Colatosti as its business development executive to boost the company’s profile in the retail and consumer packaged goods (CPG) sectors.

Colatosti comes to the role with 37 years of experience in CPG. His most recent executive positions were with Ontario Lottery & Gaming (OLG) and Coca-Cola.

As the senior director, retail sales and account management at OLG, he led a 70-person sales team and helped grow OLG from $3.2B in revenue in 2020 to $4.4B in 2021; while at Coca-Cola, he acted as the brand’s best partner.

“Colatosti’s earned aptitude at building brand, revenue and partnerships over the past four decades make him a veritable golden ticket in delivering brand equity and value to our retail and CPG partners,” says Amanda Newell, Adapt Media’s chief revenue officer.

Meanwhile, Pink Triangle Press (PTP), an LGBTQ2S+ media and content organization, appointed Daniel MacIvor as its new creative development consultant.

MacIvor will work on the production of new television, digital and podcasting projects.

“MacIvor brings new skills into this organization which will allow growth in our storytelling and, we think, the alchemy of drama and the advocacy of our journalism will create a magical mix. It is our hope that with Daniel in this development role, we are poised to work with others in the industry to bring some really interesting and impactful LGBTQ2S+ content to audiences,” says PTP’s chief content officer, Jennifer McGuire.

Daniel MacIvor is a renowned writer, performer, filmmaker and producer who has been the recipient of a Governor General’s Literary Award, the Siminovitch Prize for Theatre, a New York Obie Award and a GLAAD Award.
