The Canadian Automobile Association buys the top in Toronto: Media Monitors

Bell Mobility jumped from the seventh spot to the first in Montreal.

Four out of five of the top Toronto radio buyers were entirely new, according to Media Monitors data for Oct. 31 to Nov. 6. The Canadian Automobile Association took the top spot as a newcomer to the list.

The rest of the spots were held by Subway, Genacol, Public Mobile and Desjardins Insurance. Only the last of these was previously on the list at the third spot.

In Montreal, Bell Mobility jumped from the seventh spot to the first. It was followed by Subway, Gouvernement du QB, Virgin Plus and Desjardins.

Categorically, business and consumer services were the most active radio advertisers in Toronto, followed by insurance providers. Wireless carriers were the most active in Montreal, followed by government and union ads which were at the same spot last week.
