Toyota buys the top in Toronto radio: Media Monitors

Meanwhile Virgin Plus takes the top spot in Montreal.

After two weeks of the CAA topping Toronto radio buyers, the Toyota Dealer Association has taken over the number one spot, according to Media Monitors data for Nov. 14 to Nov. 20.

The rest of the spots were held by Fido Internet (also new to the list), Public Mobile (which went down to the third spot from the second last week), the CAA and Genacol.

In Montreal, Virgin Plus went from the 30th to the top spot. It was followed by the Government of Quebec, Subway, Fido Internet and Hy-Vee. Both Government of Quebec and Subway had the same spots last week.

Categorically, business and consumer services were the most active radio advertisers in Toronto followed by quick service restaurants. Business and consumer services were also the most active in Montreal, followed by cars and trucks.
