Time + Space expands to Ontario with new senior hire

New director of client services Robert Baral is part of a multi-year strategy for the Halifax agency.

Halifax-based media agency Time + Space has hired Robert Baral as its new director of client service in Toronto, expanding its services to the Ontario market.

Baral has been tasked with working directly with the agency’s top clients, as well as lead teams related to media strategy, planning and execution.

Shawn Lowe, who was named the agency’s president late last year, says hiring in the GTA in October supports the “mid-term ambitions” of the agency’s longer-term strategy.

Baral joins from Figr, where he was the cannabis company’s senior digital marketing manager for the last three years. He is returning to the agency world, having previously spent time at Mediacom, Promotivate and J3, UM’s dedicated agency for Johnson & Johnson.

Time + Space’s clients have included Royale Tissue, Cavendish Farms, New Brunswick Tourism, Nature’s Way, Medavie Health Foundation, Atlantic Lottery Corp., Nova Scotia Liquor Corp. and STI Technologies.
