Kijiji hires Jed Schneiderman as head of advertising

The media vet will collaborate with clients in addition to overseeing the marketplace's advertising business.

Jed Schneiderman has joined Kijiji.

The marketing and media vet most recently did a stint at zero-party data platform Jebbit as its VP and country manager. Today, he finds himself at Kijiji as its new head of advertising.

According to the company, Schneiderman will “collaborate with clients to craft solutions aligning with their business objectives” in addition to overseeing its advertising business.

“His extensive experience in the dynamic realms of mobile, streaming, broadcast, and internet technology has positioned him as a trusted expert within the ever-evolving landscape of consumer tech trends and marketing strategies,” said Scott Neil, GM at Kijiji.

“He brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to building long-lasting, impactful relationships that will help us grow our vertical and horizontal markets,” added Neil.

Schneiderman has more than 25 years of experience in marketing, data and tech. Before Jebbit, he held leadership positions at companies like Kognitiv Corporation, Microsoft Canada, Bell Media and P&G. He was also the co-founder of Tapped Mobile and M2T Collective, a training program in the marketing, media, and technology space.
