Vito Rezza and Maura Pierson have joined international media agency DAC as the company’s new chief financial officer and vice president, media planning, respectively.
Rezza brings 30 years of experience in growth and financial transformation for private and public companies. He has held various CFO, controller, and financial leadership positions during his career. Most recently, Rezza was CFO at Jam3 and before that, he held the role of COO/CFO of IPG Mediabrands Canada where he was instrumental in its expansion, growing the business by an average annual rate of approx. 25% between 2010 and 2018.
Rezza’s new role at DAC focuses on sustainable growth and effective utilization of emerging technologies, starting with the implementation of a new ERP business software system to help the agency move away from legacy systems and improve both internal and external reporting.
Pierson joins DAC from Wpromote, where for the past two years she was the senior director, media strategy. Her focus at DAC will be on refining the agency’s media planning practice and expanding its expertise in upper funnel and traditional media.
Privately-held DAC was founded in 1972 and now has 12 offices in Canada, the U.S. and Europe. Its in-house capabilities include content strategy, UX, paid media, SEO and analytics.
