Halifax local news publication Haligonia has formed a strategic sales partnership with Narcity Media Group (NMG) that will bring Haligonia’s local media brand to agency partners and national brands across Canada and the U.S.
The addition of Haligonia’s strong local presence, NMG’s offerings is also meant to enhance NMG’s presence in Halifax and Atlantic Canada with a focus on engaging hard-to-reach millennials and Gen Z in the Atlantic region. And the deal goes both way. According to Chuck Lapointe, CEO of NMG, the partnership will help expand Haligonia’s sales presence in Toronto and Montreal, while offering NMG access to the brand’s deep connection to the local Halifax community.
The collaboration also includes access tp Haligonia’s social media channels on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. NMG can now offer products across its owned and operated media brands to Haligonia under a unified rate card. This means brands working with both companies will benefit from streamlined communications and reporting, maximizing efficiency and effectiveness.
