After several weeks without leading the AdEase TV ranking, Tim Hortons has returned to the top spot during the week of Dec. 2 to 8.

The latest AdEase report shows that the QSR scored 2,653 combined occurrences last week, coming in second in Vancouver and Montreal, and third in Calgary and Toronto. The previous TV buying week, it came in second place overall, with 2,732 total occurrences.

With 2,582 combined instances, Leon’s Furniture was the second most active advertiser, followed by Crave TV with 2,056 and The Brick Warehouse with 1,983. While Leon’s decreased its spend since last week, Crave and The Brick increased their buying.

Coca-Cola Beverages topped the list of advertisers that moved up the most in Vancouver and Calgary, while Petsmart led the way in Toronto and Sports Experts Sporting Goods Stores in Montreal. Among the categories that moved up the most on the list were jewelry stores, pharmacies and drug stores, pet shop and supply stores, and food delivery services.
