Spence Diamonds dominated the airwaves from Jan 20 to 26, according to the most recent AdEase report.
With 4,746 combined occurrences, the retailer landed first in Calgary and Edmonton, second in Vancouver, while coming in fifth in Ottawa and ninth in Toronto. The advertiser increased its spend compared to the previous radio buying week, when it recorded 4,035 occurrences.
Subway restaurants ranked as the second most active advertiser, with 4,445 total instances, 1,279 fewer than last week. Toyota dealers were third (3,355 occurrences), followed by Subway (3,007 occurrences) and Destination Ontario (2,362 occurrences). While Toyota and Destination decreased their purchase from last week, Metro increased it.
Among the advertisers that moved the most on the AdEase list were Ontario Lottery And Gaming Corporation, which increased 257 places in Vancouver; Subaru dealers, which jumped 139 places in Ottawa; and Rogers Communications, which rose 370 positions in Quebec city. On the category side, the groups that moved the most were online sports betting in Vancouver, gyms in Edmonton, and electric cars in Ottawa and Quebec.
