The new season of Canada’s Got Talent has got sponsors

Some of the competition partners include Jackpot City, Rogers, Tim Hortons and CIBC.

Canada’s Got Talent is returning to TV screens this month, and it’s bringing sponsors new and old with it.

The competition show is gearing up to offer another million dollar prize with the help of returning sponsor Rogers. In addition to sponsoring the prize money, this year Rogers will also own the “Yes Room,” a branded area where acts who received a “yes” from the judges reunite with their supporters. Rogers’ “Beyond the Seat” program will also be featured in some episodes, giving select Rogers customers exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the CGT audition tapings.

Also returning as a sponsor this year is CIBC. The bank will own the backstage interviews in the “CIBC Studio,” and sponsor the “Golden Buzzer” to the tune of $25,000. As a bank, it will also provide free financial advice to the ultimate winner.

A new element of CIBC’s sponsorship is the addition of the CIBC Aventura brand, which came on board to facilitate travel for select acts who would otherwise not be able to make the trip to Niagara Falls.

Returning sponsor Tim Horton’s will be on the judges cups, and will be integrated into the CGT Finale. Joining Tim’s in the finale will be Orville Redenbacher, which will sponsor a contest, and will own the “Pop and Watch” zone where super fans are treated with front row seats and viewers at home will be able to hear their reactions to performances. These reactions will also be extended to CGT’s social channels.

Also returning this year are UberEats, who will create custom branded content with select acts and will be integrated into the finale with a special delivery, and Kruger’s Scotties Tissues. Scotties boxes will be featured on the judges table all season long, and will once again be aligned to all of the show’s emotional moments.

Jackpot City is a new sponsor this year, where it will own the walk-off runway, giving viewers a glimpse of the post-performance winning walk-offs as the acts leave the CGT stage.
