MiC recently visited the Toronto office of ZenithOptimedia to meet with CEO Sunni Boot and get the straight goods on what makes the self-titled “ROI agency” unique.
Boot jokes that she joined Ronalds-Reynolds for the summer, but ended up staying permanently. In 1987, Ronalds-Reynolds merged into FCB, and in 1992 Boot formed Optimedia Canada as a stand-alone media company. In March 1998, ZenithOptimedia was relaunched under the Publicis banner.
Join Boot and her “dynamic” team for a day at the agency, and hear her thoughts on the ins and outs of what is and isn’t working in the Canadian media industry. Hint: Boot echos the sentiment that media cos needs to stop racing to the bottom when competing for price.
It’s all in a day’s work.
