Dentsu Canada has added three industry veterans to its media leadership team.

Sophie Labarre has been appointed chief client officer to lead Dentsu X across Canada. Labarre has had a long career as a strategist and planner at media agencies and most recently worked as a VP at Cossette. She is known for her ability to work with clients through business challenges, from strategy through to planning and execution. She will lead the Dentsu X team from Montreal and also sit on the senior leadership team for the media service line in Canada.

Charlie Farrell had been appointed VP search to accelerate the transformation of Dentsu Media’s offerings. He will oversee integrated search for Dentsu clients and how they can deliver the brilliant basics and expand in sophistication. Farrell joins the agency from Rogers where he was part of the in-house performance marketing team.

To continue to drive growth through innovation, Boris Cho has signed on with Dentsu as director of Growth. Cho is well known in the media industry and joins the agency from the media side of the business after a time at GroupM. He will oversee organic and new business development. Cho sits on the Board of Directors for NABS Canada along with the AdClub of Toronto.

In partnership with Sarah Thompson, Dentsu Media president, the three new leaders will continue to focus on driving growth through innovation and fuelling collaboration with other Dentsu agencies and offices across the region.
