Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling is returning to Oakville for the WFG Masters this week, with the championship’s title sponsor ready with a slate of activations on-site and in-broadcast.
Exclusive TV and streaming coverage of the curling event begins on Dec. 8 on Sportsnet – which owns the Grand Slam – as well as its digital services. The WFG Master is the third event of the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling season, featuring 16 top men’s and women’s teams from around the world. The round-robin style event will see teams competing for a combined $250,000 prize purse and a berth in the KIOTI Tractor Champions Cup, the final event of the season.
The 2022-23 Grand Slam of Curling season marks Pinty’s ninth season as title sponsor. In addition to title sponsorship, the food company also sponsors the Pinty’s Eat Well Zone, an on-site
sampling activation at every Grand Slam event. It also receives in-venue brand presence, such as rinkboards, hack signs, scoreboard signage, plus permanent brand signage at all six Grand Slam events. It also has naming rights to the Pinty’s Cup, the trophy awarded to the teams that win the season.
Complementing the in-venue sponsorship presence, Pinty’s has major sponsor presence on all 66 Grand Slam broadcasts on Sportsnet per season, plus sponsorship of all event highlight packages on Sportsnet Central.
The Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling series also partners with several key sponsors, including event title sponsors for other events: Nestle Boost, HearingLife, World Financial Group, Federated Co-op, Princess Auto and KIOTI Tractors, as well as associate sponsors Manitoulin Transport, Sports Interaction, and Goldline Curling.
