Newcomer Wendy’s topped the national list of radio advertisers for the week of Sep 11 to Sep 17, bumping McDonald’s (previously at #1) down to fifth position.
In second place was Subway Restaurants, which climbed up from #3 the previous week. Mobile Klinik also moved up a spot from #4 to #3 for the week.
The Quick Service Restaurants category (once again) topped the list of most active buying groups, as brands like Wendy’s, McDonald’s, Subway, and White Spot continue on their menu promotional spree. Meanwhile, the Grocery Stores and Supermarkets category came in at #2 (same as the previous week), and Dine-in Restaurants jumped from #13 to #3.
