Aegis Media Canada, which operates agencies including Vizeum and Carat, has announced Sasha Grujicic has been appointed to the role of chief strategy officer, a new position at the agency.

Grujicic, who joined the agency in 2006 as SVP of group strategy, was promoted to the role of EVP group head of strategy, digital and insight in 2011. In his new role, Grujicic will be responsible for driving forward innovative business solutions for Aegis Media Canada’s clients, according to a release.

“Our industry is going through rapid and exciting changes and Sasha’s new role reflects this evolving context,” said Annette Warring, president, Aegis Media Canada, in a release. “He will work closely with me to help implement Aegis Media’s vision, direction and offering. I am very excited to have him guide best-in-class strategies for the clients we serve and their businesses. Sasha has the knowledge and the expertise to ensure we stay on top of our game.”
