Former Exchange Lab director lands at Jones Media

Neil Houston is now the company's director of programmatic and media buying.

Jones Media has added a new member to its senior ranks, hiring Neil Houston as the media company’s director of programmatic and media buying.

Houston comes to the company from his most recent role as director of ad operations at Exchange Lab. He has also held roles at Shaw Communications, Rogers Communications, CTV and AOL Canada.

Cathy Fernandes, partner at Jones Media, says the need to hire a director of programmatic and media came following growth at the company’s DMP and working with a greater number of partner marketplaces.

She adds Houston’s role at the media company will include ensuring all of its partners’ ad inventory is monetized on its in-house programmatic platform or the open market. He is also responsible for building out a team of three to four new programmatic and media buying hires by the end of 2015.
