CBC/Radio-Canada has a new executive director on board, with Mary Kreuk joining the pubcaster.
Kreuk starts on Tuesday as its executive director of multiplatform media sales for Toronto and Western Canada.
Prior to joining the CBC, Kreuk worked most recently at Bell Media, where she spent over 12 years as the VP of brand partnerships with CTV. She has also held roles at companies including Peoples Jewellers, Pizza Hut and Kellogg’s.
Kreuk’s position in part takes over the responsibilities that Janice Smith had at the CBC as executive director of multiplatform sales for CBC’s Revenue Group. Smith left the company in November to join Rogers Media as its VP of national media sales.
