Vancouver and Toronto-based agency Smak has announced winning the media and experiential marketing business for Major League Soccer team the Vancouver Whitecaps.
The account win was made without a formal RFP process, and work will begin with Smak creating media campaigns for the team’s 2012 season ticket drive.
“We are excited about working with Smak,” said Jon Rees, senior marketing manager, Vancouver Whitecaps, in a release. “We wanted an experienced and integrated agency that understands the club’s brand and values. Smak’s innovative thinking will help Vancouver Whitecaps FC stand out during the 2012 season.”
