Shaw Media unveils Big Brother Canada sponsors

The Brick, Chevrolet and Ramada Worldwide have all signed on as sponsors of the first season of the Canadian version of the reality show.

Big Brother Canada, which launches on Slice next Wednesday at 9 p.m., has unveiled its slate of presenting sponsors for the first Canadian season of the international series.

The Brick joins as series sponsor and official prizing partner, providing more than 200 items valued at more than $170,000 to the Big Brother Canada house, including furniture mattresses, appliances and home electronics. The company is also giving a $25,000 gift card to the winner of Big Brother Canada to spend in store.

In addition, various Brick locations will feature in-store displays inspired by those seen in the Big Brother Canada house. It is also launching a national contest offering fans the chance to win their own Head of Household-inspired room, and an all expenses paid trip to the Big Brother Canada finale. In the show the Big Brother Canada Head of Household is determined each week through a competition, with the winner holding the most power in the house. The fan contest will be live on as well as in-store at various locations of The Brick.

Chevrolet is signed on as a prizing sponsor, with the winner of Big Brother Canada taking home a new Chevrolet Trax. The car company is also sponsoring a contest on that allows viewers the chance to win a trip to the show’s finale.
