MediaCom has named Vik Kathuria to the newly created role of global head of digital investment at MediaCom Worldwide.
Kathuria was promoted from within MediaCom’s ranks where he has worked since joining the agency in 2008, most recently as managing partner, EVP, digital investments and trading, MediaCom US.
In his new role, Kathuria will work to ensure MediaCom’s clients see growth in their return on digital investments, and work with local agencies to establish best practices across all digital trading platforms, according to a release. He will manage relationships with all global publishers for MediaCom and continue to hold his digital investment management responsibilities on behalf of US clients.
It’s the latest in a recent round of promotions at MediaCom Worldwide, with James Morris named as the agency’s first global head for its content marketing-focused Beyond Advertising division in November, and Ben Phillips recently appointed as the company’s first global head of mobile.
Kathuria will report to global chief investment officer Dominic Guba.
