Ford was the top radio ad buyer in the Toronto market from May 21 to 27, rising from #44 last week, according to the latest Media Monitors report.
The automaker, which purchased 1,042 ad spots last week, was followed by the Acura Dealer Association (993 spots).
While Rogers took the #3 spot after coming in at #25 last week, HSBC fell from #2 to #4. Lotto Max soared from #33 last week to round out the top five. Squeezing into the top 10 this week was Fido Solutions, which rose from #16.
For categories in Toronto, cars and trucks dealer association maintained its #1 spot for a second week in a row with a play count of 3,436, up from 3,090 last week.
CTV continues to be the undefeated top radio ad buyer in the Montreal market with 328 ad spots this week.
Ford took the #2 spot in Montreal after coming in at #52 last week, followed by Mazda, Chevrolet Cruze and Hydro-Quebec, rounding out the top five.
Rogers is also new to the chart in the market, jumping from #77 to #9 for the week.
As in Toronto, car and truck dealer associations were the top category in the Montreal market with a play count of 816, however it dropped significantly from the 1,294 play count last week.
