A pair of leadership changes has come to Allvision, which has promoted Jennifer Bidwell to EVP, sales and marketing following the departure of the president of its young media division.
In her new role, Bidwell assumes leadership of the Canadian sales division for the digital out-of-home media company, reporting directly to CEO Greg Smith.
Before joining Allvision earlier this year as VP of sales, Bidwell was national sales manager at Astral Out-of-Home and senior manager of digital and programmatic for Bell. She also has agency-side experience, spending a year as managing director for television systems at Media Experts.
Allvision has elevated Bidwell as it announced that Brandon Newman, president of media, had left the company. Newman, the former chief commercial officer at Outfront Media Canada, joined Allvision to lead the launch of its DOOH network last year, which also included the initial development of Allivison’s sales division and establishing partnerships with Hivestack and other major programmatic companies.
Last year, Allvision – previously a developer of large-format OOH boards – pivoted to also operate a network of large-format digital OOH screens in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. To help further boost its growth, Allvision has also hired Mike Elliott as a senior account executive, a former sales manager at Metrolinx, and marketing specialist Evan Gough, a former national media account executive at Pattison Outdoor and NewAd.
