Reddit has made updates to its Ads Manager to improve how advertisers onboard on the platform, as well as campaign planning, setup and management.
Among the changes, Reddit has introduced a new Audience Manager tool, which will enable advertisers to create, edit, delete and reuse audiences across their Reddit ad account.
Reddit has also redesigned the Estimates tool in its Ads Manager to provide advertisers with impression and click estimates for their ad groups, as well as an estimated audience size. The last year has also seen significant changes to the look and feel of Reddit Ads Manager that include updated navigation, a revamped sign-up page and updated metrics modal that separates events and metrics.
Also in Ads Manager, Reddit has added over 1000 new communities that can now be targeted by advertisers.
In terms of onboarding, going forward, Reddit Support Live Chat will be available on every page of the Ads Manager as well as on the Reddit Ads Help Center. As part of Reddit’s ongoing efforts to attract more brands, credits will be available for new users to put towards campaigns as extra motivation to learn more about the platform’s advertising solutions.
In addition, The Reddit Pixel Helper, a wizard-style experience in the ads dashboard, will help streamline the pixel setup process. This feature will allow advertisers to integrate the Reddit Pixel, which enables them to optimize, retarget high-value customers and measure campaign success.
Reddit’s Post Library will allow advertisers to create, view, and manage all of their promoted posts in one place while new editing features will ensure updates to the creatives of existing ads happen right on the ‘Edit Ad’ page.
“Reddit’s advertising business is growing at great scale globally. As we continue to welcome new clients to our platform, we are committed to providing them with a best-in-class experience as they get started, and with ensuring the best possible tools and features so our longstanding partners can make the most of their campaigns on Reddit. These updates to our Ads Manager reflect this commitment and our investment in setting all advertisers up for significant success on our platform,”said Reddit’s EVP, ads monetization, Shariq Rizvi.
“There’s a lot more to come as we continue to update, adapt and innovate Reddit Ads Manager, and we look forward to sharing more, soon.”
Improving ad opportunities on Reddit has been a priority for the platform. Earlier this year, it struck a partnership with IPG Mediabrands to strengthen its relationship with media agencies, while also giving those agencies early and improved access to new ad opportunities. That came after a similar partnership with Omnicom in 2021, the same year Reddit opened a Canadian office to reach local advertisers.
