Meta extends Instagram Creative Marketplace to agencies

Shops will be able to find content creators based on advanced filters, or post open projects for creators to apply for.

Meta is now letting agencies access its creator discovery to manage the process on behalf of their clients.

Launched last year, the Creator Marketplace is a hub where Instagram creators and brands can be connected for branded content projects.

This week, Meta began testing dedicated access to the Marketplace for agencies that are handling partnerships and spending for their clients, allowing them to manage the creator discovery and collaboration process.

Agencies will have the ability to find creators based on advanced filters, verified metrics and search capabilities directly from their existing Meta business account. There are also management tools for creator conversations and project briefs. Agencies can also publish their own open projects to the marketplace, allowing the creators themselves to apply to participate.

Omnicom Media Group, Influential, Wpromote, Rickhouse Media, Power Digital and Brkfst are among those involved in the early test, though the company is accepting applications from other agencies interested in participating.
